PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THEY GOVERN YOUR USE OF THIS SITE.

1. INTRODUCTION
   1 We are HouseConnect, a digital platform that connects landlords and tenants for rental purposes.
   1.2 HouseConnect is not an estate agent, property manager, or brokerage service. We do not negotiate rental terms or collect money on behalf of users.
   1.3 These Terms apply to all users of this Site, including landlords and tenants who use the platform to connect with each other.
   1.4 By using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.
   1.5 We can update these Terms from time to time. The version displayed on the Site is the version that applies.
   1.6 By viewing or interacting with any part of the Site, you become a user and agree to these Terms.

1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
   2.1 HouseConnect provides an online platform where:
   a) landlords list rental properties, and
   b) tenants browse listings and purchase subscription access to view landlord contact details.
   2.2 HouseConnect’s role is limited to connecting landlords and tenants.
   2.3 All property information, photos, and pricing are supplied directly by landlords.
   2.4 Tenants should confirm details directly with landlords before making any payments or agreements.
   2.5 HouseConnect does not participate in rental negotiations, property viewings, or lease agreements.
2. USER OBLIGATIONS
   3.1 Users must provide accurate information.
   3.2 Users must not upload false or misleading content.
   3.3 Users must not misrepresent themselves as the landlord of a property they do not control.
   3.4 Users must not reproduce or distribute any content from the Site without written permission.
3. LANDLORD LISTINGS
   4.1 Landlords list properties for free at all times.
   4.2 Listings must be truthful, complete, and reflect the actual property.
   4.3 Landlords must update or remove listings when a property becomes unavailable.
   4.4 Duplicate listings and repeated posting of the same property are not allowed.
   4.5 Photographs must show the actual property. No stock photos or unrelated images are allowed.
   4.6 HouseConnect removes listings that appear inaccurate, misleading, or inappropriate.
   4.7 HouseConnect’s responsibility ends once the landlord and tenant connect.
4. TENANT ACCESS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
   5.1 Browsing listings on the Site is free.
   5.2 To view landlord contact details, tenants purchase a subscription.
   5.3 Subscription fees and durations are displayed on the pricing page.
   5.4 Fees are non-refundable.
   5.5 Subscription access lasts for the purchased duration only.
   5.6 HouseConnect is not involved in communication between landlords and tenants after contact details are released.
5. INFORMATION ACCURACY
   6.1 All listing information is supplied directly by landlords.
   6.2 Tenants should confirm details directly with landlords before making payments.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
   1 HouseConnect is not responsible for:
   a) disputes between landlords and tenants,
   b) misleading or incorrect listing information,
   c) non-response from landlords,
   d) decisions made based on information on the Site,
   e) payments made outside the platform, and
   f) any loss arising from interactions between users.
   7.2 HouseConnect is not part of rental agreements or financial transactions.
   7.3 Users choose to use the platform at their discretion and must exercise normal caution when dealing with other parties.

1. BLACKLISTING AND SUSPENSION
   8.1 We suspend or remove any user who:
   a) violates these Terms,
   b) posts misleading property information,
   c) abuses other users, or
   d) engages in suspicious activity.
   8.2 A suspended or blacklisted user cannot create another account.
2. HYPERLINKS AND EXTERNAL CONTENT
   9.1 No person can link to this Site without written permission.
   9.2 Links to external websites are for convenience only. HouseConnect does not control those websites.
   9.3 HouseConnect is not responsible for the content or accuracy of third-party information.
3. DISPUTES
   10.1 Any dispute relating to these Terms is resolved through arbitration in English.
   10.2 Arbitration takes place in Harare, Zimbabwe.
   10.3 The unsuccessful party bears the arbitration costs.
4. WHOLE AGREEMENT
   11.1 These Terms form the entire agreement between HouseConnect and the user.
   11.2 No other terms apply unless included in this document.
   11.3 Continued use of the Site after updates means acceptance of the revised Terms.
